CAM-talk: An Online Support Group for Families Concerned About Mormonism

Copyright © 2007 Institute for Religious Research

CAM-talk is an online support group for those concerned about a loved one or friend who has joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or who is being wooed by the Mormons.

CAM-talk operates from a Christian perspective, but is non-denominational.

CAM-talk is guided by mentors who have personally experienced having a loved one pulled into Mormonism. Our mentors are volunteers, not professional counselors. They share from their personal experience and offer encouragement and prayer support.

The focus of CAM-talk is responding to issues directly related to Mormonism. If you are experiencing marriage or relationship problems that DO NOT stem directly from a loved one’s involvement in Mormonism, you should NOT join CAM-talk. Instead, we encourage you to seek the help of a church or Christian counseling agency in your area.

CAM-talk works very simply: anyone who “subscribes” to the group gets the emails posted to the group by other members. When you post messages, others subscribers will see your email address, but will not know your name unless you choose to use it at the end of your messages. This is a FREE service. There is no cost or obligation of any kind, and you can unsubscribe yourself at any time.
